PEACE DOVE
PEACE DOVE is a staged photographic series that uses the image of a dove as a carrier of irony and contradiction. Traditionally associated with peace, the dove here appears in a human body, placed in everyday and absurd situations. The character is neither a hero nor a victim — rather an observer and a participant at once. Through gestures, posture, and short texts within the frame, he reacts to a reality where the meanings of peace, normality, and common sense are gradually dissolving. The locations — courtyards, fences, dovecotes — create a familiar environment where private and public spaces overlap. It is within this setting that tension emerges between the ordinary and what no longer functions as it used to. The project does not offer answers. It captures a condition — where the serious becomes absurd, and the absurd no longer brings relief.
